We do not keep large stocks of pre-decorated porcelain. Every plate set is decorated and fired in our family workshop only after your order is confirmed.

Our made-to-order approach allows you to combine your preferred porcelain shape, decorative pattern and finish:

• 🖌️ Choice of Decorative Pattern: If you see a motif in our shop that is not pictured directly on a plate set, we can apply that pattern to your chosen porcelain shape upon request.

• 🎨 Custom Rim Options: Depending on the pattern, we can modify rim colours, add a hand-painted gold or platinum line, or omit border lines entirely.

• ✍️ Personalisation: Customise your plates with family monograms, wedding dates or personal inscriptions applied in genuine gold or platinum.

🛒 Individual Replacement Pieces (Build Your Own Set)

In daily life, accidents happen. Alongside complete plate sets, we offer individual dinner, soup and dessert plates that allow you to replace damaged pieces or expand your existing service.

As long as the porcelain shape remains in production, individual plates can be ordered separately to expand your set for any number of people, including five, seven or eleven.

⚙️ Dishwasher Safety & On-Glaze Decoration

Our porcelain decorations without precious metal accents are applied using traditional screen-printing techniques and fired at temperatures of approximately 800–820 °C. This on-glaze decoration process produces durable patterns suitable for everyday use. Our porcelain sets without metallic embellishments are dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.

For special occasions, we also offer hand-decorated porcelain featuring genuine gold or platinum borders. To preserve their metallic lustre, these pieces should be washed gently by hand and must not be used in a microwave.

Yes. As long as the base porcelain shape remains in production, we offer individual dinner plates, soup plates and dessert plates separately to replace damaged items or expand your set.

How do I order a plate set in a pattern pictured on a different product?

Order the plate set in your preferred porcelain shape under any available pattern, and specify your requested pattern in the notes field during checkout. Our decorators will decorate the set according to your exact instructions.

Are porcelain plate sets dishwasher and microwave safe?

Patterns decorated without precious metals (gold or platinum) are dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe. For sets decorated with hand-applied gold or platinum, we recommend gentle hand washing with a soft sponge.

Can I order a plate set for a custom number of guests (e.g. 5 or 7 people)?

Yes. Although our standard sets are configured for 4, 6, 8 or 12 people, you can create a customised set by combining a standard plate set with individual matching plates from our shop.
